Adobe Creative Cloud
Distance Learning Globally for
Schools Impacted by COVID-19
Beginning Fall quarter 2020, DePaul is providing students the ability
to install Adobe Creative Cloud on their home computers for students enrolled
in a class requiring Adobe Creative Cloud apps. These
classes are determined by the college or school in consultation with the
instructor. Access to the software may be limited to the term in
which they are enrolled in one of these classes, and will be free of charge
during the time they are enrolled in an authorized class.
Here is the process
–
1)
To begin,
you will need to use your @depaul.edu
account to login and NOT the @mail.depaul.edu
account that is now part of the old system.
2)
Navigate
to AdobeÕs webpage: https://creativecloud.adobe.com/apps/all/desktop
3)
Enter your
@depaul.edu email address (@mail.depaul.edu will not work).
4)
If prompted,
choose Company or School account.
NOTE: DO NOT choose the
option to create a NEW account. The account you will be using is the DePaul
University account, which is FREE access to use and download the programs. If
you create a NEW account for yourself you cannot use the university free access.
5)
Select apps to
download and install.
NOTE: Periodic
Authentication Is Required. Students will periodically be prompted to log in
with their DePaul account credentials when they access the software on their
computer. When the term ends, or if a student is no longer enrolled
in a class requiring Adobe, they will be denied access to run the installed
software.
