you should be testing and experimenting with materials and processes,
sketching, brainstorming, researching, making digital mock ups, producing test

Individually or in self-organized groups visit the SAIC BFA Exhibition in
person. Take notes and photographs for reference (at least 3 photos are needed
for your process journal entry). Pay attention to how the work is finalized for
public reception, artist statements and title cards. For your Process Journal 2 homework choose a minimum of 3 works that relate to your project in
some way or are inspiring to you (consider media, technique, content, scale etc.);
take photos of the works.

T 4/22..... Project Process GRADE: You will receive a process grade which is ⅓ of your final
Art Thesis Project grade. Upload a photo of your work-in-progress to D2L so
you can receive a grade. The Professor will meet with each student to assess
their work in class. Organize where you are at in the process so you can
clearly communicate where your project is going and what your plans are for
midterm critique. You will be asked for the overall size, media and any special
needs (pedestals, electricity, etc.).

*It is highly recommended that you arrange to photograph your work in the
critique space before or after critique as a warm up
for professionally photographing your artwork. Consider assisting each other
with lighting and DSLR camera setup. You will have time to shoot your work
again before the final postcard is due but it is
strongly suggested you go through the process now to determine the best way to
represent your artwork through a photograph.
